At the centre of every stingray's dorsal fin sits a single white bone plate — the Eye. Each hide is studied and cut so that this point falls exactly at the centre of the piece.
It is a natural, distinctive element that makes every hide absolutely unique — no two share the same grain, colour or arrangement of beads.
Each hide is chosen by hand for quality, symmetry and the position of the Eye.
Manual analysis and placement of the cuts, to draw the most from the hide. No industrial production.
Every piece is cut by hand and numbered, preserving the correct sequence and the continuity of the grain.

From a single hide comes one belt and, where the grain allows, a compact wallet or a card holder. Once those pieces are made, no further belt can ever be produced from it — the hide is definitively exhausted.
Vegetable-tanned and sourced in accordance with CITES. Each hide keeps the colour and character it was born with.
Each The Eye piece is delivered with the authenticity certificate of its own hide: species, origin, tanning, colour, and the original photographs of the grain. A record no other hide can ever share.
